Project Overview
Yasmeen Joinery was appointed to deliver the full joinery package for Mayyil, a vibrant Lebanese street food concept in the heart of Notting Hill. The brief called for bespoke joinery that could reflect the brand’s bold identity — combining natural timber with striking spray-painted finishes in the restaurant’s signature green and orange colourway.
Working closely with the design team, we manufactured and installed all joinery elements across the restaurant, from the main service counter through to the self-order kiosk station and retail display area. The fit-out required careful coordination with other trades to ensure seamless integration with the digital menu boards, cooking equipment, and refrigeration units.
Scope of Work
SERVICE COUNTER & BAR:
The main service counter runs the full length of the open kitchen, featuring a louvred timber fascia to the customer-facing elevation beneath a white composite worktop. At the front-of-house, a rounded EPOS station was fabricated with integrated storage and spray-painted cabinet doors, maintaining a clean and consistent finish throughout.

DISPLAY SHELVING & KIOSK STATION:
A bespoke open display shelving unit was manufactured and spray-painted in the brand's signature orange, providing dedicated housing for branded packaging, takeaway bags, and retail merchandise. Adjacent to this, the self-order kiosk station was built with a matching spray-painted cabinet base to house the two FEC self-service terminals, tying the ordering zone together as a cohesive feature within the space.
