Our Workshop

Everything we make, we make ourselves.

Our workshop in Park Royal, London is where your project goes from a 3D design on screen to a finished piece ready for installation. No outsourcing. No third-party factories. Just our team, our tools, and decades of hands-on craft — all under one roof in NW10.

In-House Manufacturing

Why we manufacture in-house — and why it matters to you.

A lot of joinery companies don’t actually make anything. They design your piece, then send the order to an external factory or supplier and manage the delivery. That model has its place — but it also means less control over quality, longer lead times, and very little accountability when something isn’t right.

At Yasmeen Joinery, we do things differently. Every piece is manufactured by our own team, in our own workshop. That means we control quality at every stage. We catch problems before they leave the building, not after they’ve been installed in your home. And when you need something adjusted — a slightly different dimension, a change to the finish, a detail you decided on late — we can actually do it, because the work is still in our hands.

It also means the person who designed your piece knows the person who built it. That continuity matters more than you might think.

The Workshop

Our home: Park Royal, NW10.

Our workshop is based at Oliver Business Park in Park Royal — one of London’s long-established manufacturing districts, just off the North Circular. It’s where our team works every day: cutting, edging, moulding, assembling, finishing and quality-checking every piece before it’s loaded for delivery or installation.

The workshop is equipped with professional-grade machinery across every stage of the manufacturing process — from raw board to finished piece — giving us the capability and consistency to take on projects of any scale, residential or commercial.

Capabilities & Equipment

Our machinery.

We’ve invested in professional-grade machinery that covers every stage of the joinery process — from dimensioning raw boards to finishing solid timber profiles. This is the equipment behind every project we deliver.

  1. 01

    Panel Sawing

Our professional panel saw cuts sheet materials and boards to precise dimensions with clean, square edges every time — the starting point for almost every cabinet, wardrobe and carcass we produce.

  2. 02

    Edge Banding

Our automated edge bander applies banding to all exposed board edges with a seamless, consistent finish — a clean, durable edge that won’t peel, lift or look cheap, even after years of daily use.

  3. 03

    Spindle Moulding

Our spindle moulder shapes, profiles and machines solid timber — architraves, frames, mouldings and bespoke profiles that can’t be achieved with board-based manufacturing alone.

  4. 04

    Planing & Thicknessing

Our planer thicknesser dimensions solid timber to exact specifications — consistent thickness, flat faces and square edges on every piece of hardwood or softwood that goes into a project.

  5. 05

    Dust Extraction

Our industrial dust extraction keeps the workshop clean, safe and within health-and-safety guidelines — protecting our team and keeping spray finishes free of airborne particles.

On-Site & Precision

Hand tools — Festool & Lamello.

For on-site work and precision finishing, our team uses professional hand tools from two of the best manufacturers in the world.

Festool is the benchmark for professional power tools — track saws, sanders, routers, jigsaws and multi-tools built to a level of precision and reliability that trades professionals trust on their most demanding jobs. Our team uses Festool on site and in the workshop for cutting, sanding and finishing work where accuracy and surface quality are non-negotiable.

Lamello is a Swiss precision tool manufacturer best known for their biscuit joiners and Clamex invisible connector systems. We use Lamello joinery tools to create clean, strong, concealed connections — particularly in high-end cabinet and furniture work where visible fixings aren’t acceptable.

Quality Control

Nothing leaves until it’s right.

Before any piece leaves our workshop, it goes through a quality check by a senior member of the team. We check dimensions against the technical drawings, inspect every edge, joint and finish, and test all hardware — hinges, runners, mechanisms — for smooth and correct operation.

If something isn’t right, it gets fixed here — not on site, not after handover. That’s the advantage of manufacturing in-house: problems stay problems for minutes, not days.

Materials & Finishes

Materials, finishes & trusted brands.

The quality of a finished piece is only as good as what goes into making it. We source premium boards, surfaces, hardware and fittings from leading European manufacturers — the same suppliers used by top-end joinery companies across the UK. Every project, regardless of size, is built with materials chosen for durability, consistency, and a finish that holds up over time.
